In the presence of Dr. Seyed Hamid Sajjadi, Minister of Sports and Youth, Dr. Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, members of the Executive Board of the National Olympic Committee, Dr. Seyed Mohsen Mir, Director of the National Museum of Sports and a group of federation presidents, veterans and boxing federation officials; the unveiling ceremony of busts related to Ahmad Nategh Nouri, the founder of the Boxing Federation and Manouchehr Maghsoudi, the former Vice President of the Federation was held.

Minister of Sports and Youth, while expressing satisfaction with attending this
cultural and sports event, which was held with the focus on boxing, said: “As a
soldier, I am listening to the country's sports, especially you veterans, and I
consider it obligatory to protect our veterans”. He pointed out that with such
cultural activities in sports, it is possible to penetrate to the hearts of the
people more and more, adding: "One of the most important and powerful
tools that can be used for cultural domination over other countries, in addition
to paying attention to history and civilization is a special look at myths”. Also,
Dr. Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, while
welcoming the veterans, elders and champions of the boxing family and other
attendees, stated: “The presence of Dr. Sajjadi, Minister of Sports and Youth,
in this ceremony has a special message for the great sports community; which
is, the Sports Ministry appreciates the heroes and veterans”.
Referring to the country's sports
capital, he held: "Experience says that capital is not permanent, but I
must say that some capital is symbolic and will remain in history like the World
Champion, Gholamreza Takhti”.
