Hayde Seirafi, the Director of the Sport Olympic Paralympic Museum, participated in General Assembly of Olympic Museums Network.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The 17th
General Assembly of the Olympic Museums Network was held virtually, and was hosted
by the Lausanne Olympic Museum, with the presence of members. Hayde Seirafi,
the Director of the Olympic Museum also participated in the Assembly.
In this meeting, various topics
in the field of museum, Olympic movement, education and research, display of
the objects and special cases of museology were raised and discussed by the
members.
The permanent headquarters of the
Olympic Museums Network as the main trustee of the world's Olympic Museums is
located in the Olympic Museum of Lausanne, and so far the Olympic Museums of 40
countries have been accepted as members of this network.
Iranian Sport Olympic Paralympic
Museum was introduced in the 10th General Assembly of this network hosted by
Canada in 2014 by Hayde Seirfi, the then Director of the Olympic Museum of
Iran, presenting the initial plan of the museum and the necessary documents,
and after securing the majority of votes, it was introduced as a permanent
member of the Olympic Museums Network. Seirafi previously participated in the
11th and 12th General Assemblies of the Olympic Museums Network.
