9 busts related to former Iranian Olympians and medalists were unveiled with presence of NOC and Tehran City top-ranking officials.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The ceremony
was attended by Dr. Nobakht, Vice President and President of the Program and
Budget Organization, Dr. Soltanifar, Minister of Sports and Youth, Dr. Salehi
Amiri, President of the National Olympic Committee, Pirooz Hanachi, Mayor of
Tehran and Dr. Kaykavous Saeidi, Secretary General of the NOC, Dr. Seyed Mohsen
Mir, Director of the National Sports Museum and other sports officials. In this
ceremony, first a clip of the biographies of Mahmoud Namjoo, Mohammad Ali Khojastehpour,
Mohammad Paziraei, Esmail Elamkhah, Aboutaleb Talebi, Parviz Jalayer, Seyed
Shamsodin Seyed Abbasi, Mansour Barzegar, Mohammad Reza Mirzaei Jaberi was
broadcast and then busts of these Olympic and Paralympic Champions were
unveiled.
