Intellectual Games
About 2500 BC, settlers of south east
Iran (Kerman & Sistan and Baloochestan) used to make various intellectual
games and tens of stone and wooden plates for intellectual games were excavated from Jiroft in Kerman.
These games gradually turned into a
variety of entertaining and intellectual games such as chess and backgammon.
